Have a Question?

From buying a plan to using it, here’s everything you need to know.

1. Why should I buy travel medical insurance?

Because unexpected hospital bills abroad can be overwhelming. Travel medical insurance protects you from high emergency costs and gives you peace of mind when you’re far from home.

2. Why is travel medical insurance important when visiting overseas?

Healthcare in the U.S. is among the most expensive in the world — even a short ER visit can cost thousands of dollars. Indus.Care ensures you and your relatives can access quality care without financial stress.

3. When should I buy travel medical insurance — before or after booking tickets?

Buy it before you travel. Coverage starts the moment you land abroad, and you can extend or adjust it anytime after your purchase.

4. Are there any hidden fees or extra charges?

No hidden costs — what you see in your quote is exactly what you pay. No admin, service, or surprise deductions.

5. Are Indus.Care plans affordable for short and long visits?

Yes. We designed plans specifically for travelers visiting for up to 6 months. You only pay for the days you need.

6. Does travel medical insurance cover accidents and sudden illness?

Yes. Emergency hospitalization, ambulance, doctor visits, and prescribed medications are covered under both categories as per the policy guidelines.

7. Are pre-existing conditions like diabetes or blood pressure covered?

Sudden, new flare-ups (“acute onset”) are covered if treated within 24 hours of symptoms. We make this clear upfront — no fine print.

8. What should I do if I have a medical emergency while abroad?

Call 911 first (if in the U.S.) to get immediate help. Then contact our 24×7 helpline — we’ll coordinate hospital admission, direct billing, and update your family.

9. How do I file a claim if I receive treatment?

Claims are handled by our insurance partner, Venbrook Travel. To initiate a claim please call:
Toll Free: 888-868-6053 / Direct: 860-831-4805 or Email VenbrookTravel@RobinAssist.com

10. What documents do I need to submit a claim?

Itemized bills, payment receipts, passport copy, and any diagnostic reports. Contact the claims center of our insurance partner, Venbrook Travel, for further guidance.

11. How long does it take to process a claim?

Most claims are settled within 3–5 business days once all documents are received. Hospitalizations get priority review within hours.

12. Can I update traveler details (passport, age, etc.) after purchase?

Yes — just send an email to support@indus.care and we’ll update it for you right away.

13. How do I extend my policy if I/we decide to stay longer?

Tap “Extend Policy” on our website or send us an email and we will help you with your renewal.

14. How can I cancel my policy if the trip is canceled?

Cancel before the policy start date for a full refund. If travel plans change mid-way, we refund unused days after a small admin fee.

15. How do I track my claim or reach support?
