5. Insurance Information, Quotes, and Purchases

5.1 Information Only (No Advice)

Content on the Website is for general informational purposes only. It is not legal, medical, tax, or investment advice and may not reflect your unique circumstances. You must review the official policy documents, benefit summaries, and exclusions/limitations for your specific Plan.

5.2 No Guarantee of Availability

Products and services described on the Website may not be available to all persons in all states or countries at all times. Eligibility is determined by the insurer/administrator and applicable law.

5.3 Quotes Are Non-Binding

Quotes are based on the information you provide and on the insurer’s or administrator’s rules. A quote does not create coverage, bind any party, or guarantee issuance. Final terms, rates, and eligibility may differ from the initial quote.

5.4 When Coverage Begins

Coverage becomes effective only when:

  1. your application is accepted by the insurer/administrator;
  2. the required premium is received; and
  3. you receive confirmation of coverage and/or policy documents from the applicable insurer/administrator.

Until you receive confirmation from the insurer/administrator, you should not assume coverage is in force.

5.5 Accuracy Matters

You must provide true, complete, and current information for quotes, purchases, and any claims or customer-service requests. Inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information can result in:

  • denial of coverage,
  • rescission or cancellation of a policy, and/or
  • denial of claims or other adverse outcomes permitted under applicable law and the policy contract.

5.6 Extensions & Changes

Policy changes (for example, extending coverage when one traveler on a multi-traveler policy remains in the U.S., or adjusting dates) are subject to:

  • the Plan’s terms and conditions, and
  • the insurer’s/administrator’s approval.

Changes may require updated information and additional premium and may be subject to waiting periods or other limitations.

5.7 Role of Indus.Care

Indus.Care provides the online platform, and the Plans are distributed through its licensed insurance producer/broker, Venbrook Insurance Services (California License No. 0D80832), via this Website. We do not make underwriting decisions; coverage terms and decisions are made by the insurer/administrator.

Any travel retailers, visa consultants, or community partners who refer you to our Website may not be licensed to sell insurance in all states and are not authorized to evaluate the adequacy of your coverage or to answer technical questions about policy terms.

6. Purchases and Payment

We accept payment methods as displayed on the Website. By providing a payment method, you represent that:

  • You are legally authorized to use that payment method
  • You authorize us and our payment processors to charge all amounts due (including applicable taxes and fees) for quotes you convert into purchases, renewals, or extensions

If a transaction fails, is reversed, or is later disputed, coverage may be delayed, suspended, or canceled in accordance with the Plan’s rules and the insurer’s/administrator’s policies.

7. Claims and Customer Support

7.1 Claims

All claims are administered in accordance with the policy contract and the procedures of the insurer/administrator. You must:

  • Follow the instructions in your plan documents
  • Notify the relevant claims or assistance team within the time periods specified in your policy
  • Cooperate in good faith
  • Provide the records and documentation reasonably requested

Submitting false, incomplete, or misleading information may result in claim denial and may constitute fraud.

7.2 Support

For questions about quotes, purchases, or general servicing, you can contact:

Email: support(at)indus(dot)care

We may route your inquiry to our distribution or administration partners where appropriate.

8. Third-Party Links and Tools
